Some of our themed trips, courses and longer passages are held on Taweret. If you’re sailing solo or in a small group and don’t mind sharing, why not come along and make some new friends while having a sailing adventure?
For this boat, a ‘transit log’ fee of €200 is payable on site, which includes a dock fee (mooring – electricity – water) at Korfos on any day, washing and cleaning, laundry, gas and a welcome pack.
We also offer transfers from Athens airport / Corinth train station pickup and drop off. Accommodation is available before and after the cruise in rooms or apartments in Korfos. Take advantage of our sightseeing trips in the local area or rental of water sports equipment to play in Korfos bay or just come in the evenig for a draft beer and barbecue. And should you need us, we provide assistance anywhere along your sailing route.
Taweret - meaning:
One of the attributes of the ancient Egyptian goddess Taweret was ‘Guardian of the Horizon’, which is why she was invoked by sailors seeking safe navigation and a safe arrival at their destination. Otherwise, her name simply means ‘The Great One’, and she was most commonly known as the goddess of fertility and the lady of the waters and the heavens, a protector. However, let’s be honest, she wasn’t exactly a vision of beauty: the body of a hippopotamus, the head of a crocodile, cat-like paws… but the main thing is that she can protect sailors and always find their destination safely, just like our boat :-)
